Making contribution to the wellbeing of patients and society by discovering new antibody drugs that meet unmet medical needs is the Chiome’s corporate philosophy, and we are advancing basic and exploratory research for antibody drugs, together with business activities.
The core competence that supports our growth is antibody platforms, including our proprietary ADLib® system, technology and know-how related to protein and antibody engineering, and well equipped facilities. With taking advantages of these, we should be able to increase the success rate of obtaining good antibodies, and generate outputs with high efficiency. Our technology and know-how accumulated through the development of the ADLib® system and collaboration with external research partners forms our competitive strength and assets, which are invaluable.
Based on this core competence we promote 2 main businesses, “Drug Discovery and Development” in which we strive to develop innovative and effective new therapeutic antibody for diseases where high unmet medical needs exist, and “Drug Discovery Support” in which we provide high quality service to pharmaceutical companies.
